I'm the absolute worst Blogger ever. Sorry :(
Either my life is super boring and I can't think of anything good to talk about or my life is super crazy with two young kids, work and husband.
I'll go with the second one, but with alittle of the first!
Christmas....How you creep upon us so fast, I don't know. I like it and I don't.
Work during this crazy time of year is crazy (both good and bad). More time in the salon equals more money, but then less time at home to enjoy these memorable moments with the kids. I kept telling myself in October already that I'm going to do all this baking, do crafts with the kids, and just be able to sit back and enjoy this year without stressing about never feeling like I've fulfilled the kids dreams of having those memorable moments like I had when I was a kid. Hopefully they don't remember me as being a crazy mommy always on the run, making sure everyone else isn't stressed. Likely not.
The kids are doing great from what I hear (just joking). Cassius is such a great "big" boy already. Can't believe in less than 6 months he's going to be 5 (sad face). He's so easy going, well behaved, and respectful 90% of the time. Everytime I talk about him my heart just warms up. K, so I'm going to brag..but seriously this boy is smart (like is daddy). He's such a good reader and good at any thing electronic. We got our Shaw bill a few wks ago and it was alittle higher than usual. About $30 more. I went through it to find that there were some movies rented. Yup, about 8 of them. Whenever he's watching tv, he would ask if he could watch a movie and I'd just say.."Yeah no problem". I was never in the room when he did these purchases obviously. So I couldn't get too mad at him for this because I had agreed to let him. I just assumed that these movies that he said he rented were ones that Eddie had bought or downloaded. Never thought Cassius figured out how to do that. I love him.
Harper is going to be 3 on the 20th of December (poor Christmas baby). I hate that. I feel like she never gets that extra fun bday parties because of this time of year. I know that I should jump on the "do your kids birthday party early" wagon, but I'm so not organized to do that. Harper is going through the "Ms. Independent" thing right now and kudos to her, but sweetie...you are stubborn. Her and I love to get into little screaming matches (I know..don't comment and give me advice on how to parent. I'm not going to listen...I'm stubborn!!). She's my Harper. Love her to pieces and could hold her all day long, but she would never go for that. When people ask about her....I probably give this face of frustration but still smile. I love her.
Well, I hope you enjoyed catching up on what the kids have been up to lately and hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

laugh about...or cry about.
Mondays are my day at home with the kids.
We try and spend it doing fun things together, but that is not the case today :(
Harper woke up on the wrong side of the bed which is actually rare, but when it does happen...BEWARE!!! And I have alot to get done in the house today before I have a client at home this evening.d
I had to hire my sister to take me to the city this morning to pick up some hair supplies so there were 4 kids in the van which didn't help the situation. We left for the city at 9:30 and was home by 11:30 so the kids actually never left the van and well Little Miss Thang was a "bear" the whole time. On the way home she started balling her eyes out, only to discover that she dumped her whole bottle of o.j. all over her. GREAT!!! "Grumpy bear" is even more grumpy now that she is wet and sticky! I hailed A$$ to the back seat to strip her down so she would stop crying in hopes that she would change her sweet attitude, but low and behold..things got worse! Cassius decided it was time to really test her patience (and mine!!) my teasing her about the whole o.j. dumping experience and boy was I ready to jump out of the van while in motion. :( We made it home, got her into clean clothes and started watching "Chicken Little". Harper seemed to have a great attitude adjustment (or maybe I gained an ounce of patience finally) until something got her mad again and this time the ever so hurtful words came out of her mouth..."Mommy, you're not my best friend" followed by a nice slap to mama's arm. I know I shouldn't let these things bother me as she is only 2 and a half and it's just a phase, but when she says things like that, it really pulls at my heart strings. Harper...I love you!!!! Be nice to your MaMa today!
Let's hope that that after a nice lunch and nap she will wake up in the afternoon and be a changed girl because I don't think I can handle another minute of this today.
